Purpose of the Job
As an apprentice, you will train and develop to become a qualified Millwright, according to the requirements of the relevant SETA (QCTO) and National Artisan Moderation Board (NAMB).

Minimum Qualifications
Option 1: Grade 12
A completed Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (6 subjects) with a minimum pass of 40% in:
Mathematics / Technical Mathematics
English
Physical Science / Technical Science
OR
Option 2: N3
A completed N3 National Certificate (6 subjects) with a minimum pass of 40% in:
Mathematics
Engineering Science
Business English / Communications
Training Areas

Your apprenticeship training will include:
Electrical equipment
Mechanical equipment
Maintenance of underground production equipment

Safety prerequisites for equipment
Good housekeeping
